Fundraisers
Paying your own way is a fundamental principle of the Boy Scouts of America and Troop 420. For this reason our Troop supports the scouts in many fundraising opportunities and encourages each scout to earn all of his own funds for scouting. This core belief instilled at a young age teaches the scouts that if you want something, you have to earn it. Troop 420 has many ongoing fundraisers such as the monthly Elks Breakfast and Troop Cookbook Sales. We also hold an annual 10k, 5k and Family fun run in March for the scouts to earn money for summercamp and also so they can help promote to the community the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
